Our elite half dozen or so players will see us prevail today in a scrappy sort of game. Fev and Eddie back on the scorers list in a major way. ![]() |

The highlight of last season was the intensity we played with in the first Collingwood game, our life depended on it. The rematch was my birthday so they did it for me, today we have self pride and the expectation of a win, how will we handle it? I'm hoping like hell we play as a team, we need to smash them from the start, 6-7 goal first quarter will see Collingwood fall over, Petals is exactly that, fragile when the heat is on so we should make him a target early, get Medhurst off his game also and Pugwell needs to be roughed up so he can play his tough hard focus on the man type game. 1 win and percentage from a large pack if we win today, Adelaide to follow, we have failed when the expectation is on us, lets turn it around and send a message. Blues by 64pts. |

Expect two late changes for the pies. Toovey & Barham did not play in the VFL yesterday |

Obviously we have a few under a cloud and they'll be given right up to game time to prove their fitness. With 24 hours between games as a precaution we'd have to have kept 2 emergencies just in case. |

Have two reserves players ever been forced to miss a game on the off chance seniors might not come up? |

But the other way around I guess it probably happens a lot? |

what i wanna see today: -a fair dinkum crack at the footy, as a team, not the select few, as usual -a willingness to take the game on, and move the ball quickly -creativity in the forward line. -no sideways kicks in the backline!!(while the opp sets up their zone defence). it drives me insane!! -a killer instinct- lets impose ourselves on the game Go Blues. we should win, but we need to win well. |

The most important game of our season. We'll know after today who truly wants to be part of this club and who can go and get flowered. |

For some reason I still feel deflated after last weeks insipid effort against Freo. I just hope the players aren't feeling the same way we are. |

If we're to believe half of what has been rumoured lately with our boys, I'd say it'd be more likely for them to feel that the game is already won. In which case today would be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG day indeed. |

Well I am excited ![]() Looking to see how our forward line plays if Wiggins is out, even if he is not out he has a huge job to do today. The boys will be playing in front of 80,000 at the G. It's got to be what they dreamed of doing when they were young, if they can't get excited then maybe they should look at other professions. Blues to win by plenty Fev to bounce back and kick a few but set up just as many and to lay 5 tackles. Robbo to Lay 10 tackles and kick goal of the day Yarran and Betts to cause havoc Gibbs to play the game of his career And Judd and Murph to do what they always do. GO BLUES. |
