Story might come out about some players antics up in the GC. Might have been some team rules broken-- club has tried to keep this in house for a week but I reckon the media have got hold of it.. Let's hope it stays unsubstantiated but I have heard rumblings since Sunday about it.. |

I know several players including most of the leadership were read the riot act this week (A decent spray im told). A separate incident (nothing to do with the GC shenanigans) involves a current CFC player and his association with a former CFC player that the club are none to impressed about. |

Well lets hope it didn't involve 8 team mates, two staff, and a kiwi chick of negotiable virtue ... |

Heard on 3AW Sports today that 3 of our players have been naughty boys & may be stood down for a while. They said it will break in Friday's press. Greg Swann was being interviewed re Visy Park and when they asked him about the naughty boys he adopted the Sargeant Schultz approach. |

On another Carlton Forum, there is a picture of 2 of our players in King Street at 7.30am after the loss to Hawthorn..... It seems this may be what they were talking about on the radio... Wonder if the pic in the paper will be the same as on that forum? There is also a pretty big thread on the Carlton part of Big Footy ..... for what it's worth.... Be warned some of our players were "named" on the above forums. ![]() |

7.30am. I struggle to get up at that time let alone still be out at that time. I'd be recovering for a week at least. |

I think I hear the sounds of pitchforks sharpening and fires being kindled. |

From what i have read on other forums some of our boys had a big bender after the hawks game. One paid the price and got dropped. Then similar happened on the Goldie after the loss. Looks like it is some of our more senior players although some youngens were along for the ride. Sounds ugly but at least it is coming to a head. Hopefully we can nip it in the bud and punish those involved. |

Did sweeping it under the rug help? these things are best dealt with in house how do you know that things aren't being dealt with internally ? you don't i'm just glad that we weren't responsible for this getting in the medias hands |

It didn't seem to work this time. It's not a one off, and the players involved are for the most part, veterans - in age and experience (ie serial offenders). Now they're dragging in our next generation of players. CULTURE. It's not the 80s - we now have mobile phones with cameras, and the media aren't as shy about spilling stories they would have sat on in the past. This stuff does come out anyway. |
