Well done to a team that showed us 1) how to run 2) how to work hard 3) how to team 4) how to apply close in pressure 7 points flattered us. Freo were just way to good. I would love a plyer like Stephen Hill in our side.....boy that boy wants to play the game. Congrats Freo....thanks for enlightening me! Hallelujah!!!! |

They came to play. Deserved the win. The team seem to think we're Geelong and can just cruise against bottom 8 teams and switch it on at will. |

Can I start it? @#$%&! insipid. The last quarter effort did nothing but magnify the pathetic efforts of the first half. Fevola will get a truck thrown at him by the media this week and deserves every bit of it. Pathetic. Walls was wrong about our bottom six, it runs deeper than that. Bower & Jamison appear to try hard, but really? Could Bower sell his teammates into trouble more often? Jamison does a good job on his opponent, but the days of playing a Micky Martyn single possession role week in week out are long gone. We need more from him. Thornton no good, ditto Cloke, Wiggins, and a few others. Hampson is an athlete and that's about it. Stevens is a shadow of his former self. I spoke in the Bummers thread last night about weight of expectation. The Bummers play like a team that have none, we play like a team that everyone has talked up as top 4, when we're clearly not. You can have all the top draft picks in world, but when you have 6-10 players not up to AFL standard, you're dreamin. |

Long, long , long way to go. Terrible 'team' effort tonight, havent seen that sort of display for a long time, thats the worst aspect. Looked slow, lacked composure, non-existent forward line, too much left to Judd, except for him no on filed leadership. Feel like we have gone backwards. |

Skills appalling under pressure. Tactics questionable. The number of times Freo kicked out sideways from half back then ended up with at CHB were laughable. Judd (our jet) and Waite (our best forward on the night) continually in packs trying to get the ball out - ridiculous. |

Obviously Stevens and Fev are in our best side. But it would be great to see the MC show some fibre after tonight's effort, and seriously turn over the side, including demoting some big names. It might stop us winning next week, but hopefully it would send a long-term message to the playing group. |

Absolute rubbish. The hard questions need to be asked of certain individuals in the team. This was one of the must wins, the should wins. Now it's a case of where is the next one coming from? Blues are riding poor form for narrow losses. Fremantle are crap and should have been put away. I agree with those who said the club sold 4 points for $400,000 - but it could well turn out to be $800,000 as the team will need to face Collingwood after travelling. Should have played at home. Cloke has got to go. Robinson is tearing it up in the VFL again today and would present more than this spud. |

Lets be very clear where we are and where we have come from. Last few years we have won 4, 3, 4 and 10 games. Guys like Kruezer, Gibbs, Murphy, Yarran, Hampson, Bower, Jamison, Judd, Austin, Robinson are the nucleous of a side that we will build our team around. Until we can get more contributors into the game we will struggle for consistent performances. All in all it is frustrating but it is reality! ![]() |

Simply crap. Any chance we can kick straight? 3 games it has cost us now, 3 games, 12pts and a Top 4 spot on the ladder. Based on listening to the ABC commentary, Cloke, Wiggins offered nothing up forward when Fev was down and out, it's time for an overhaul up front, we have Collingwood next week and with Presti in good form, Fev won't be kicking 8 again to win us the game. |

Message has to be sent .... Cloke and Wiggins must make way ..... I do not care if we play with 20 better them out than in ... couple of other ned to make way as well ... but if Cloke is in next week I will have a coronary .... did absolutely nothing again this week, against FREMANTLE for heaven`s sake. What was up with Fev? The boys really need to have a good hard look at thierselves and stop believing the hype. Having a hard time taking away a single positive |

Not tonight, unfair to Freo and too soft on Carlton. take a look where they had their shots from (because they used the corridor), vs our hurried snaps and shots from the boundary. |

35 inside fifties in the second half for 3 goals. 20 more inside 50s over the game than the Dockers. |
