Thanks sas87.
Hmmm...Simmo might finally get his chance, Carlos as well and Diggers is back! :)

Can't see Diggers getting a game after only a half in the Bullants which he himself descibed as fairly ordinary.

Glenny Bowyer, can't see getting a run.

Bentick or Johnson.

There's 3. Now for the other half

Thanks sas87. I really hope Simmo makes the cut and is given a fair run on Saturday.

agreed; it might be a bit harder for him when we go back to 22 players. we need to give him the chance to show what he's got at this level.

Cammo, I think one of Bentick or Johnson will play at least (as you say). With Kouta out, a clearance/inside midfielder is needed. AB didn't get much of a run, which probably means that Pagan doesn't think he can do that job yet. Johnson got a ton of possies against the Zebras, but he does have the tendency to kick to space rather than to a forward. If the Doggies flood, this could play into their hands. Pity Blackwell isn't ready. But I'd go with Johnson.

Chris Bryan out to get a full game in the two's is understandable, but what is wrong with Jarrad and the Wiggler?

Prolly just want to give those who haven't had a run yet in the seniors have a run. Hope they're not injured.

waitey had trouble with a foot/ankle during the game after getting stomped on by Fev in the second term.

not sure why wiggo would be dropped he's been playing well.

I now looking at that Johnson in for Bentick, and Campo in for Carrazzo.

not sure if i can squeeze simmo in, maybe out goes davies?

man this is hard.

owell with wiggins and waite out atleast a few others may get a chance.

Jarrad would have to be injuried. He's in our starting 18 with ease. His loss is probably why Morrell is in the side.

As for Wiggins, can't say that I'm too surprised. He'd jump off a cliff for his team but his skills are just horrendous. He does a few nice one percenters but when he actually gets his hands on the ball you worry. I'd take Carrazzo over Wiggins anyday.

Bryan will get replaced by either Deluca or Setanta depending on Deluca's fitness.

Kade Simpson, Glen Bowyer, Adam Bentick and either Adrian Deluca or Setanta will be dropped from the Carlton Squad.

Personally i reckon it should be Campo, Morell, Ohailpin and Johnson in for Wiggins, Waite (both must be injured) Bryan give him a full game to get some fitness up and bentick same reason as Bryan.

Johnson needs to play to help with the clearances, thats whta we got killed at last week. well that and the umpires

Carlos in for Waite?

If Diggers is underdone it may just happen - although its a big stage to perform on, would be nice to have a look at him depsite the 'he's not ready yet' tag.

ADL in for Bryan
Carlos for Waite
Simo for Wiggo
Jono for AB
Campo?

Too many changes considering we are coming off a win, but bloody hell this is just the wizzer - i wanna see some variety!

i dont think deluca should play, he has had such a lengthy lay off. i twould be better for him to go back and play a half in the 2s and get some confidence.

if he comes into the 1's he will probbaly play a quarter maybe 2 and most likely not do too much and risk injury.

morell in instead of him with ohailpin and prenda helping barney in the ruck

Personally, I think it is time to give Betts a spell.....he has done ok with his opportunities so far, but I think someone like Kade Simpson deserves a chance.

Kouta, Waitey, Wiggler and Blackwell were in the injury group. They did a bit of handball, then went inside with a trainer and did not return.

Another thing to ponder. The final drill at training was a kicking for goal drill in which 3 poles with outlines of a man minding the mark were planted about 35-40 m out from goal in an arc. The only players who participated while the others stretched were Fev, Lappo, Prenda, Barney, Red, Campo, Digby and ADL. Make of this what you will. Not sure it is a reliable indicator about selections.

how did ADL go in the kicking? we all hope he improves his aggression in the marking, but his kicking is a bit floaty - left - to the side - whats he trying to do? if he could get that right, he might hurt the opposition a little more.
