How can Gieschen compare umpires mistakes to player mistakes. The nature of the game is that the goal posts are close together and an angle makes it harder for the person kicking the football. He is comparing umpires to players... isn't this what Kennett was getting at? Suddenly umpires are as big as the players. This deserves a sacking if there ever was one: "But what would the fans do if this sort of thing happened in a grand final? I mean he was only 15metres. After midnight, Fevola urinates that far. That sort of missed shot could cost a team a premiership," Gieschen said. I hope this article is taking the p*ss. If it is sersious, Gieschen should seriously book himself into the local loony bin as he has totally lost touch with reality. On a personal note, I live in the same area as the guy and have seen him around and spoken to him on occasion. He is a toughtless and selfish man. I would be embarissed to know him more than an aquaintance. |

I got half way through the article before checking who wrote it. That's the first article by Patrick Smith I've read in the last two years, and I feel stupider for the experience. |

If I was Fev and the CFC I'd be asking for a full explanation on why this F-wit feels the need to make an issue he has with Kennett, into a personal issue involving Fevola. His snide remarks about him pissing is a disgrace. I could understand that language from fat-arse because he's a turd, but from the umpire director? Does he want respect from the public and the players? He should be sacked if quoted corrcetly. |
