I nearly passed out when Fev marked it and then missed. He played very well - did he win the Parko Medal? I hate Hawthorn, like you have no idea. They were arrogant today - pure and simple. Starting with ugly p*&k Clarkson. |

I liked it, other than the result. Hawthorn proved they are no better than us, and if Fev had've nailed it they would've lost yet another game. They're looking vulnerable, nothing like a "reigning premier" at all. |

Fev had a bigger score with less good delivery - so what was Parko thinking? |

just back great great great game at the end we should have won but @#$%&! I am ecstatic - Hawthorn showed they are a @#$%&! good side, disciplined, moved the ball brilliantly and - we still should have won it. how good it that! So why didn't we? Must get Tex and Griggs back in this side - when our A team are not in the middle we struggle Must get Warnok or Hampson in this side when Kruise if off we struggle Play someone else at CHF Bentley tried hard and no - Garlet, Robbo or Yarran please. We need to make sure in tough hard situations we have enough blokes with the ticker of armfield or AJ T-Bird is not a matchup for Roughhead - not his fault he just isn't. enough of why we didn't why we should have Judd. Murph 2 of the most elite in the game. Murph missed that snapped in the last but the fact he was there to snap... Setanta's game - gives away a free but gives us presence. Bower on flower. Hands down @#$%&! killed him. Stevens. Jesus lad just play like that and I'll love ya! Fev - 8 well done. Eddie. Jammo I tell you we are coming - 'snip' we are coming. WE are a very good side. So now it comes down to tough decisions. Its up to you Ratts make the hard calls please. |

Post subject: | Can somebody please explain the theory behind the Bentley??? |
I'm still at a loss as to how the MC came to the decision to play Bentley today ahead of Hadley, Robinson or even Yarran. We effectively played a man down and on today's game i cannot understand how they in all their wisdom could have picked him to play against the reigning premiers. Either Robbo's or Hadley hardness would have got us over the line today. Even Yarran who had 10 tackles and kicked 3 goals could have provided more for us today then Bentley did. This is nothing against Bentley as a player just the decision making process behind his inclusion today. Thoughts? |

I hope ppl can keep the negativity down.... please. Don't forget we fought back twice from big deficits when playing badly at times. Walls said Ch 10: a) good performance by the blues who should have won i.e. Fev should not have missed from 30 meters and b) our bottom 6 players are still not good enough. c) with a bit of luck we could have been 5-1. Agree with him and the development of the kids will solve the main issue. So chin up we will improve over the season (injuries permitting) and put a smile on your dial. |

We proved a lot today. I'm very disappointed in the selection of Bentley ahead of Hadley.....it probably cost us the match. Cloke up forward isn't working and he's too short for the ruck. Hopefully Hampson plays well for the Ants tomorrow. |

i haven't watched the game as yet but judging by what i heard on the radio benji's thoughts are warranted. however, for those who were at the game or have watched the game did you notice if he was doing anything to help judd as he picked up 33 disposals and had over 20 uncontested possessions? even if he did, i imagine it won't be enough to save his spot in the team and hadley seems like a no-brainer reaplacement. |
