Thought I would have a look at the goalkickers we have had this year for the first 5 rounds compared to the corresponding time in 2008.

Makes for interesting reading and I am sure that GWS could do an outstanding graph for us all to show the sharing of goal kickers.

Yeah it's a beautiful set of numbers DUC.

There's a total of 1 whole game more goals, plus such an even spread is exactly what the doctor ordered.

(hows that DUC?)

I loves yous all. :thanks:

But seriously, how good to have such an even spread of goal kickers - makes a massive difference in that stopping Fev isn't necessarily going to stop the Blues.

I love the fact that Russell has been kicking goals. I've always been a fan, but I cringed every time he lined up for goal last year. Confidence is an amazing thing.

Betts would have to be a good chance for All-Australian the way hes going?

Good work DUC.

The only negative i could say is that i would have LOVED to see a Cloke or some other tall timber with around 10 goals...find another tall timber to compliment fev like the Franklin/Roughead combination (32 goals) and our forward line will be unstoppable...although Betts is killing it, Kreuzer can float down there and Russell and Wiggins are very good overhead marks for medium-sized players...did someone say Setanta for HF?

..the really impressive thing for me, is the amount of goals our midfielder's are each delivering.. ..Murphos..!!.. ..when your midfield is contributing so many goals each game, you stand a really good chance of winning.. ..plus midfielders kicking goals really ramps up the pressure..

QFT, we've lacked goalkicking midfielders for years, they were spending the entire game defending.

what I and I suppose all the other carlton supporters are waiting for is when Warnock finally starts to do what we drafted him for ... this will surely free up Kruise to become the missile at CHF. He is a gun and IMHO exactly what we are missing there ... surely hec is the big timber who can compliment FEV.
