What a fairytale it would be if we somehow won the flag

I think it's fair to say I would be drunk for a month.

Id suggest stocking up now on the beer, wine or spirits of your choice.

In my line of interest, I go for spirits.

one week at a time boys... let's keep a lid on it...

Once and IF we get to September (finals) then anything can happen, in no way am I trying to be negative - I just do not want this board to get it's hopes up for our prospects this year.

Beating Hawthorn on Saturday will help though, have already beaten them once this year in the NAB Cup remember...

Go to Virgin Blue's link to the Herald-Sun article and have a look at the readers comments - a complete tosspot - sounds like a Collingwood Supporter but must be living in Housing Commission Rental cause under normal circumstances couldnt afford Strathmore.

fairytales do happen in sport and although I would just about sell my soul to the devil to get a premiership this year in memory of the great man ... geez ... I wish, I wish, I wish ... just cannot see it ... did we win it for Mots the same year ... as I recall no ... but we did win it for him ... as we will win it for Pratts ... next year or the year after.

Go Blues do not rest until its done ... the great man deserves it

yeah read the comments from HJ ... complete knob ... sounds like the kind of guy that has one extremely lonely brain cell ... its a shame that footy has these types of people as supporters, they are in every club but some ... like the scum and shits have them in abundant supply .. hehe

While fairy tales can happen, and in AFL footy teams that have 'the spirit' can go nearly all the way, I don't think it could happen this year, unless the playing group just got possessed.

For me St.Kilda are a bigger threat than Geelong.

Geelong have the best midfield, but it has been proven that if you really chase and tackle them hard, they can lose the plot a little bit. So that is their weakness, along with not having the best forwardline.

But St.Kilda, geez, I don't think I have ever seen a team keep opposition team's to such low scores. They are the real deal, surely. If they keep this up, they will win the 2009 Premiership, because nobody can score against them.
