Dear Chris, we are thankful that we managed to recruit the best player in the AFL. The professionalism and leadership that you have brought to the club cannot be measured.

But we would like to apologise for continually forcing you to not only get every important contested possession, but also tackle, create, rove the backline, lead the clearances AND assist our goals. No wonder you have sore shoulders! Lets hope the rest of the team lift and allow you to go back to being one of the greatest strategic players ever. Without you I doubt we would have won half those games last year. Lets hope for all our sakes its not - no Judd no Carlton.

i shudder to think where we'd be without him. we'd have zero leadership, have all our young players in murphy and gibbs etc. absolutely smashed physically every week, get dominated at stoppages and be a far worse unit overall. he's a gem at bringing his teammates into the play and has sacrficed the flashy aspect of his game for the betterment of our team. absolute superstar.

true. i've never played at afl level, so that's a given.

and it's besides the point.

say, isn't your remark about judd a bannable offence? i mean, after all, judd could be reading this right now with a tear in his eye saying "See, Becs - see what I mean - I AM McVeighs bitch"...

...and it'd be all your fault.

how'd you feel now grro?

making judd cry.

that's not very nice now, is it?

Team Sport, Judd was as big an offender as anyone yesterday, his opponent won the game for Sydney.

..don't agree, if Judd was to play tight/tag McVeigh we'd have been done by ten goals.. ..other swans players blocked/tagged Judd as well.. ..Judd's team-mates didn't support him, where McVeighs did.. ..blues yet to 'play as a team' consistently..

agreed, it was inexcusable that we didn't have a player other than judd standing goal-side of mcveigh at the throw-in in their forward pocket. even judd should have direceted someone to stand there, knowing it was his opponent and he should have been aware that he would have had a free-run at the goals if he got possession.

Well Juddy just admitted himself he was at fault for the stoppage goal to McVeigh, he knew it would happen but did nothing about it. Ratts took him to task about it at half time and after the game.

Yes Juddy is a star, but he is human and makes mistakes, good thing is he admits to those mistakes, true champions will learn from them which I'm sure Juddy will do next time.

Now like I said, Carlton is a team, not Judd, this thread sounds like Richmond supporters apologising to Richo for so many years.
