I wondered about this - at one stage on the telecast he was holding out his hands and bending his thumbs together and didn't look too pleased with what he was seeing. I think it was late 3rd quarter from memory. ![]() |

will this injury limit him in anyway?? and how long do these things usually take to fully recover? a few years ago, i sprained my ring finger in a marking contest in a pre-season practice match. it swelled up like a big marble and it would be painful all week but once i was playing i'd completely forget it and it wouldn't hamper me in any way. is gibbs' case similar to this or something a bit more serious, that is more likely to lead to an injury than a normal thumb? |

Bruised or sprained, thumb injuries stay sore for a bloody long time. |
