At the Blueseum we were lucky enough to get some letters from the personal collection of a past player. The letters were from several VFL clubs trying to woo Charlie Parsons to play with them.

It is interesting to see how the different clubs approached the recruitment process. You can certainly see how clubs from different parts of the ladder approached players. Hawthorn and Footscray seem desperate while Essendon* seems almost indifferent.
