This week's POTW, the first of the year, is Simon Wiggins' mark. He wins from our candidates for the week:

Mark of the Week: Wiggins

Goal of the Week: Betts' roving goal

Desperate act of the Week: Betts in the second

Pure skill play of the Week: Murphy's handball for Bett's goal

Good work fella of the Week: Richard Hadley

Lair of the Week: Brendan Fevola's mid air goal

Wiggins:

"I think as we saw on Thursday night Eddie Betts kicked 5, I kicked 2, and we had a lot of goal kicking midfielders. It is hard for opposition teams to match up on us when Juddy kicks 2 and Murphy kicks 2, as opposition midfielders then need to be more defensive."

I love it that Eddie Betts always gets called Eddie Betts.

I always called him "Hold All"
At the Crown a few weeks ago (after Norths NAB game) and playing the roulette wheel. Off our heads it was always funny to ask the dealer who his favourite player was. "No More Betts"........
Good times

Is there anything that Blues supporters would be interested to know about your team mates and their strange habits?

I tell you what, I think Hadley, Thornton and Fisher have been looking after themselves too much. Some of them have been shaving their underarms, as they thought it was creating too much perspiration! Fisher has also bought himself a poodle, which is very effeminate dog but he seems to think it is very masculine!

And lookie who failed to get into the seniors for the 2nd week in a row. Fish is becoming a poof.

On the way back from school this afternoon I walked past a middle aged man who was walking a poodle.

I tried to be as polite as I could but he was walking a poodle FCS.

It had a pink collar?

I did my best to ignore it.

Not that there is anything wrong with poodles.

The guy was not comfortable with the poodle walking, that is for sure.

I once went out with a girl whose parents fed their poodle at the table!! I enjoyed the sex (with her) hated dinner (with the poodle)

in the end revulsion won out

as it often does....

Sigmund, are you there?

Man, it's raining cats and dogs outside at the moment.

Barnaby French owns a poodle, so you should watch your back.

They're smart dogs and OK if they're not clipped as show dogs.

Nothing beats a guy who stands 192 cms walking a small dog.

I'm guessing those are the most importantly placed parenthesis in all your previous written works db.
