THere was some nice skill on display at times for sure..particularly some of Eddies efforts to chase down and steal possession. However, I was very happy with Clokes' hit on Cousins |

Murph's smother and checkside goal from the boundary: all class. Eddie's steal off the pack, and Garlett ducking before the kick took his head off. Waite galloping towards goals and nailing it from 50. Gibb's quick hands in close. |

The one that really got the fists pumping was Waite's bomb from outside 50. My nerves were noticeably calmer after that. |

The "Welcome back to AFL footy" bump Clokey laid on Ben Cousins. Im loving the agression Clokey is bringing into his game Totally hammered him, and the look on Cousins face when his butt smashed into the ground was priceless! Would love to know if there is any footage of this on UTube or something? |

When Judd went for goal and Fev kicked the goal out of mid air soccer style .. brilliant coordination to wait for the right time to get his foot on the ball. Also, Mitch Robinsons goal on the boundary line, I think that was the making of a very very fine player for us ... can't believe he went down to pick 40 |

All the carlton ones without doubt but I also loved when Richo banged it in from 50 in the third quarter, decided it was going through, pumped his fists and started run off and gee his boys up with a big "come onnnnnnn" then turn around and discover he'd hit the post.

It was showtime at the MCG last night with so many highlights. Eddie winning the contest against McGuane on the wing. Reminded me of Hulme against the Kangaroos years ago. |
