Aside from working.

I have an optional shift tomorrow - usually because they are 'optionals' and not 'obligations' I tned to skip them,
but considering my workplace is much, much closer to the 'G than home - I might just surprised them and rock up.

Bonus of it being that I can leave pretty much whenever - so I'll be shooting through just after 4 to head somewhere
closeby for a few pre-drink bevos.

Anybody else head out (or have time to head out) prior to a match for a pre-game bevo or two? Where do you go?!

I'll be at Transport waiting for my brother to knock off and turn up - and I'll be buying jugs of beer* for Carlton-supporting
strangers...

...'cos that's the kind of guy I am - when I'm not carrying on like a pork chop over fudged memberships... :)

Get into the city at about 5pm for some pre-drinks as well. Not sure where yet but usually we just stay at the bar in Southern Cross because we're waiting for mates getting a later train in. Might see if they're keen on Transport so I can take you up on that free beer :thumbsup:

Tweeting...or maybe twittering...might even get there about 6.30 and tweet what gates have large queues...before I twote i'll do some last minute carbo loading, have a shower, warm up the voice and then catch tram 48 to the 'G.

I'm an interstater...Game on at my dad's who has the biggest telly. There will be a mixed mob of Blues and Tighes supporters. My mate an I have gone halves in a slab of Sapporo.

I'm on a wire workwise until about 4.00 but my mobile reception is bound to start @#$%&! up around midday.

Leaving Canberra at 5am for the drive down. Plan to be drinking with the boys by about 1 up at The Imperial. Game at 6.30. Can't wait.

I'm NSW so I'm watching it on the Teeve....I'd rather watch the footy alone because I am far too intense, other supporters around me just make me irritable with their crappy comments so I'm at home on the couch and hubby will be out with his mates away from me. :mad:

Pacing back and forwards all afternoon trying not to think too much about it as I have a two day holiday. I'll be cracking that BOAGS Premium I saved from last year at around 4:40pm Beijing time as I listen to the game on line and immerse in the game day thread.

Hey CK, i heard the last guy around here that offered drinks to TCers is still working off his credit card! :) Anybody that is in the area and keen is welcome to a beverage of thier choice, except 'carlton cold' - i'll be in the outside bit of the Transport Bar from 5.30, wearing my jumper, a black jacket and a gray cap. Just ask if i'm Sparky, everyone knows me as that! :)

As i work in Port Melbourne, i will leave work 430pm, park @ the Botanical Gardens run the Tan 2 or 3 times, find a toilet block to have an English bath & hopefully i'd be rid of the nervous energy bulit up!

I live in Darwin and I will be meeting with other NT Carlton Supporters at the Pint Club Marrara to watch the Mighty Blues put the tiges to the sword. Three hours to go and I AM PUMPED>
