Just read the local rag and discovered in the sports section that ex-Carlton Player Lawrence Angwin has just signed up to play with the Wyndhamvale Football Club. The Club for those not in the know plays in the second division of the WRFL. I know the past is in the past & its been said 100 times before but what an absolute waste of talent. Could have been anything and now aged around 25-26 would have been in his prime. Still cant forget the game against the WCE where he kicked that goal from 50. Still think on pure ability he could have been a top 10 player in the AFL right now. |

If he had of kicked on we would of won a few extra games here and there (lost many by a goal or so) and we may not have Kruezer and a couple other little gems... I'm not missing Laurie, and all the best to him. |

Agree with Firearms... It's not worth worrying about anyway. If his head had been screwed on right, we never would've picked him up in the first place as he'd still be playing for the Crows. |

He's had a few injury issues in the last few years, but the talent is still there. Best wishes to him: I hope he can make something of himself. |
