What's with the Mark & Don reference?

Good read might want to check the Garlett spelling.

I tell ya what, i was most impressed with the way he spoke. Not meaning anything bad about it but most of the young indigenous boys get quite shy in front of the camera and in interviews but Chris handled himself very well.

I cant wait to see the BettsYarran machine in full flight

Every new player to the club is given a copy of the Hansen book, 'The Blue Boys'. Does not mean the book will be read but the gesture is good.

I reckon they should be made to take a test on the history of their guernsey number after a crash course in the Blueseum.

That's great to hear, because when Fev came to the club he was given a copy of Lorraine Wilson's 'Come on the Blues', illustrated by Jeff Hook. Many people think that Fev's best season came when he gave up the drink - however I have it on good authority that it was due to the fact that after 10 years of looking - he finally located the 'hook' in Bruce Doull's headband.

The tone of the answers sound like Prince William was being interviewed, but then I realised he was probably saying 'young fella' not 'young fellow'

The club has come a long way, 30 years ago the first thing the new recruits would have been given was the phone number for the local SP bookie.

Maybe Yarran is related to Scott Chisholm?

Presidential Intern Publications I believe....no - seriously..they were great books as kids in the early 80's.

...and getting back to topic - great interview guys...how long before we see someone add an 'N' to the end of a sign to the Yarra River?

Much better without that Dan character. I feel like Don's brought a freshness to the team. Good move by the selectors.
