Swanny was on SEN - here are some of things he had to say

- The machete was no where near Juddy but almost took a camera mans head off
- Membership is about 2000 up on this time last year but said traditionally Blues supporters like to make a late run for it
- The round 1 game against the tigers could be a fully ticketed game and expecting 80,000 plus (Its a Tigers home game)
- They hope to have Carlton vs Tigers the opening game every year
- Are no longer looking at a Good Friday match
- Intra club match on friday Feb 6
- Andrew Walker copped a knock to his shoulder but said everything is fine, they'll strap him up. He doesn't think Walks will play the intra club on friday
- An update on Warnocks injury and that he will remove the moon boot later on in the week and is a long term project
- Chris Yarran lived with Swanny up until Chris's mum and sister moved to Melbourne to be with him

That's silly.

The club that grabs this will benefit greatly.

I agree deano.

I'd also like to see us own Equinox Day.

We seem to have the Greek demographic...it's time to chase the Geek demographic.

He said the AFL have no plans for football on Good friday so they see no point wasting time on it

Fine by me.

I'm a little disappointed the AFL didn't see fit to give us the 'Winter Solstice' clash. I doubt Freo vs Geelong will rate as well...could have been a big Sunday night game. What with the large, untapped druid supporter base - it would seem a no brainer.

There'll be no footy on Good Friday as long as Demetriou is in charge.
