I know this is actually a very personal story about Fev's relationship falling through, but as supporters, I think it's reasonable to ask what sort of impact this will have on Fev's on field performance this year?

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/ ... 61,00.html

Personally, I'm reasonably worried. He doesn't seem to handle this sort of stuff very well and it does seem to impact on his playing a fair bit.

An easy one to make some witty posts about, but I'd appreciate some serious responses too!

I wouldn't be suprised if the Fev takes it up another gear on the field due to this......Such is his personality IMHO.

Let's just hope he does'nt take it up another gear off the field too....

When you say you wanna drink some piss and you're offered a Fevola on the Rocks I'd politely decline.

Just hope he gets the right support off and on the field.

I don't think my wife would be too happy with me if I lost 100K playing Poker.

Looking forward to Alex's account.

Should be in new idea in a few weeks. When does the new series of dancing with the stars start?

Expect to see a lot more Alex Fevola in the media in the next few weeks.

Confirming something like this on here would only get deleted so your answer will not be answered but I am aware of players (not necessarily at Carlton) who have won or lost up to 300K in hours visiting the casino.

A lot of players love the horses too and have very good relationships with the bookies. Most of the time bets are put on without money changing hands, just a phone call.

She goes down slow like a shot of gin...

Even if they were to divorce I would not expect it to impact greatly on his performance. It is not as though he will be sitting in an empty room contemplating whether to slash his wrists etc...

I don't see why any post relating to Fev's poker antics would be deleted.

There are plenty of posts (and entire threads) dedicated to Carlton player's off-field behaviour -both positive and negative accounts - and they don't get this sort of treatment.

If only out of interest (being a semi-pro poker player), I myself would like to know how Fev goes at the tables...
