He employs 10,000 people with an annual wages bill of 1 billion dollars. At an average of $100,000 per employee... now THERE'S a man who understands how to protect his interests. He'd probably have the most loyal staff in Australia. I'm pretty sure he could shave $200,000,000 a year off his salary overheads (and that's what the bean counters would tell him if they had the guts), and make more money in the short term. But he thinks long term, and that's what makes Visy so much stronger than most companies in Australia.

God, we're beyond fortunate to have DP. Just love what he does for our club  :thanks:

He gives good advice to Fev about his love of poker.

A wonderful human being.........

We are so much better and stronger for his love of our club.

Interesting that he still speaks to Swanny once a week and provides his input.

Sounds like Mike has enjoyed his Junket.

I feel sorry for Fatprick that he wasn't invited

You are avery bad man Hellas, a very bad man.

I think it was more about not liking it too much and losing his money.

An interesting read. Hopefully Fev can take Richard's advice.

I like his idea for a sleeping regime - early to start and with the afternoon break. It is similar to what they do in Europe.

Amazing drive for a man of his age. Well done Herald Sun on a great article.
