If it means the boys go to Canberra, then I only have one thing to say about round 1, NAB cup:

North vs Freo in Canberra.

Now there's a fixture for the ages.

un @#$%&! believable !

i've been waiting 5 @#$%&! years for Carlton to come to Canberra.

so i decide my engagement party will be the weekend of the 2nd round of the nab cup down in Melbourne, hoping that it the boys win in round one, then i'll be able to see us play round 2 at the telstra dome. - pretty sneaky as the missus has no idea, and i thought if we lost then i wouldn't even metion it.

now if we lose we will be playing in canberra and i;ll miss it because i'll be in melbourne!
lol

i can only laugh i guess.

stup[id thing is that i'll be at the round one game handing our flyers for our local supporters group, but i week later i wouldn't be able to make to see them play.

hopefully we win anyway but it's about time the afl had us playing in canberra at some stage!

Stoked that we are a chance for a CFC game up here. But I'm staggered they would even think of playing a Norf game up here. Those prostitutes can die in a ditch as far as I'm concerned.

I won't bore everyone with my story from the '70s again when Carlton did play here in Canberra!

I think the local supporters have a possible date for their season 2009 launch!!!

Yay!!

Hhhhhhmmmm, Nth Melbourne captain and all round knob Brent Harvey is quoted in todays Herald Sun as saying "Dean has gone on record as saying we'd love to have a crack at it. If we lose in the first week, we end up playing in Broome or somewhere like that".

Dude, you would be playing at one of your former home grounds, and apart from the centre wicket area, the ground is top shelf. And they have audacity to say that Canberra didn't embrace them. Knob
