I don't know about everyone else but my house is a Carlton merchandise paradise, I have all sorts of things.

My favourite would have to be a Carlton Blow up chair I got a couple of years ago..it has become my float on the river chair, it gets heaps of use. I also have a Carlton 'Mock' which is always hanging around my neck..I don't go anywhere wiothout it.

So do you have something strange from way back? Something totally cool or just something plain useful?...tell us!

Oh! I mustn't forget the Sweet Sixteen Poster...I loved it then and I still love it now :p bet heaps of you have that!

at a local market about 2 months ago i found a 1976 (i think) single bed doona cover with the old carlton cartoon bloke on it. thought it was a steal for $5

my away replica jumper (white) get a good work out. it's slowly turning yellow

my girlfirend wear my old woolen carlton jumper i've had since i was 8, she's slowly realising it's in her interests to be a Carlton person also.

I have a pennant (made of felt) circa 1970 - which has in bold CARLTON and the Carlton man with the old CFC logo on his chest. It held pride of place in my bedroom till I passed it on to Agro Jnr who will in turn pass it down to his Agro Jnr. 8)

If I can get a digital photo of it I will pass it on to someone who can post it.

apart from things like the team of the century print, I have a small badge from the 70's, has our logo with the words 'the fighting blues' - I have never seen this slogan used on anything else and quite like it.

I have a not-so-sweet thing, but still my favourite thing. I have a 1993 Carlton Premiers pin. Two batches were made up with the eventual winners Essendon* being the pin that was handed out immediately post match and the Carlton batch tucked away in a dusty drawer at AFL House...

Also have a glow-in-the-dark caricature swap card of Kernahan that says STEAMIN STICKS in which he's proclaiming "You're not dreamin' I'm really STEAMIN'". Don't know where it came from, maybe a cereal box? It says The Footy Oddbodz in one corner and then PRO Squad in the other with the old AFL logo.

"Kerna-can!"

My most prized possession is my late Dad's woollen jumper. It's not a guernsey, just a 1970's(?) knit V neck with the CFC embrodied on one side.
I can remember him wearing it when I was a kid and now I wear it to evey match. It even has ciggie burns in the wrist cuffs and stitches in the elbow that mum repaired for him.
I've never seen another one like it. When I wear it I feel like Dad is with me at the footy.

My brother, for a housewarming present, found and bought a Carlton bar mirror from a garage sale- haven't found anywhere to hang it yet! Also, have the obligatory jumpers- the 1995 version and the present day ones (both H&A). We also have Carlton placemats!

But the best one is: before my son was born, my beautiful partner said that, in football and in religion (they're one and the same, aren't they?), he can be what I want- Carlton and the Micks. So Dan has Carlton teddy bears, Carlton jumpsuits, Carlton singlets, Carlton football......and he loves them all!! 8)

Photo of me at Carlton summer training aged 12...so 1986. Beside me on the left - Peter Motley. Beside me on the right - Craig Bradley. There was no Australian Open tournament in 1986, so I was able to go to a few training sessions that summer. A prized possession.

I have a Yellow Sherin with heaps of autographs on it....hang on I'll check who i have, yeah I have 15 from 1995, Not Silvagnis and I clearly remember why...cos he was never cooperative. I have photos, autographs and and all sorts of things from 95' and it is really emotional for me going back there...so i don't dwell on it too much.

Carlton premiers t-shirt circa 1995 from the ground (the shirts available after the game didn't have the final score on them).

1995 "Go Blues" cardboard sign handed out at 1995 GF (handed out in AFL members area anyway)...

1995 copy of Inside Football in mint condition. Ang & Kouta on the cover. You're 16, you're beautiful and you're mine...

Carlton 1996 centenary re-enactment round replica guernsey...

How is your collection of Collingwood membership cards relevant to this thread?
