Perfect topic for an off season thread, me thinks!

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/ ... 62,00.html

HE has long been described as the Carlton spearhead, but now Brendan Fevola looks like it too.

The enigmatic Blues full-forward took a whole new approach to letting his hair down during the off-season.

Fevola has gone the chop up top as he knuckles down for pre-season training.

Looks better and makes it harder to do the hair test for recreational drugs.

Those two events are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

The article was a puff piece and nothing more.

The Hun wasn't after an exclusive on his hair, just reporting something that is a bit light-hearted and a bit of fun.

I would rather read about Fev's hair than a rampage in a US University.

That photo of Willie Mason in the HUN looks so much like our Fev.

What do you think?

Of course you wouldn't want to read about a rampage, but an article about a hair cut... that's american style celebrity reporting for a celebrity mag...not a "news"paper.

Exclusive: Andrew Carrazzo and Terry Wallace use the same tanning salon

Bloody hell, this wouldn't even be worth mentioning around the water cooler.

When you have to fill over 80 pages a day at a minimum, there is nothing wrong with an article on Fev's haircut getting a look in in among the doom and gloom going on in the world habib.

It's a fluff piece but it doesn't mean it doesn't belong in the paper.

I'm sure you gents appreciate the Megan and Jennifer pics in the paper just as much as I enjoy Hugh and Fev. :-D

I think the point of the article isn't to report on the fact that he shaved his hair, rather to stimulate gossip on why he's done it.

Mate i'd rather read about Fev's hair than a school rampage.

Be blessed that we live in a country where we don't open the papers to read another suicide attack at a local cafe or an innocent family killed by a wayward bomb attack

When you pass "No-news" as news then go and read a school newsletter

I'm not saying I want to read about shit stuff, all I'm saying the Hun are desperate of some actual news if this article makes the papers

Well the way all of you guys are talking about it.....the article and pic has worked hasn't it?

That's why the Herald Sun is the biggest selling Newspaper in Australia by a country mile.

Hopefully he has done some manscaping too, he looks like is a fairly hairy bloke naturally, so he needs to keep them <3cm
