Off-season. I bloody hate it. All the threads that contain interesting conversation/debates/fights (albeit often off-topic) seem to get closed, moved or deleted. Whilst not entering into a debate here - it seems that it is considered that unless discussion is strictly Carlton, on-topic and 'cutie-pie' in delivery - it is not appreciated by some on TC. Can anybody think of interesting (preferably semi-Carlton) related thead topics for the off-season?! I'll make it difficult and ask that you *try to* restrain yourself from mentioning specific posters in your responses, unless absolutely required. I'm trying to find subject matter that is both interesting and won't get killed off - otherwise I may as well steer clear of here and stay to TalkingStuff... where the most riveting conversation is concerning the worsening world financial crisis - juicy! ![]() |

Or which one/s of them have bogan named kids, or which ones would choose the most bogan name if and when they have kids. |

Sounds pretty cocky Sparky, think you should tone it down a bit, I mean you've proven nothing, lost any respect you've ever had...other clubs will laugh at you.. |

Sparky why don't you stand on your own feet as a poster instead of relying on the contributions of other posters here to help you get a good thread started? |

Hillaarrrious! Threads won't get closed, moved or deleted if people can open them in the correct forum, stay on-topic, and not get involved in petty cat-fights. Try it. |

That's right - sweet @#$%&! all. A good reason to keep your gob shut... Punter22 wrote: Sparky why don't you stand on your own feet as a poster instead of relying on the contributions of other posters here to help you get a good thread started? This thread now contains bogans, sardines, Movember, Hippies and Carlton. I'd say it's close to the best thread ever... ![]() Mrs Caz wrote: Hillaarrrious!

Point out where I have broken any of these 'rules'...???? The point of this thread - in light of any decent threads being hi-jacked and subsequently closed I was looking for a thread to generate topics for the off-season. The frustration which is evident in the title post came from jumping on TC hoping for a Carlton fix and instead getting page after page of bullshit. That's ok - I don't need an apology. Ever thought of posting something that doesn't involve moderation or a show of disdain towards other posters? Maybe you should try that. Once upon the time you discussed all things Carlton with passion as well... |
