This is the game I am referring to..

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... 13%2C+1990

41 pts down at half time, we stormed homein the last half to win against the previous years Grand Finalists..
Has anyone got a copy of this game, as I would kill for it on video or DVD...

Thanks :)

Dont remember the game, but they were Dominic Fotia's only brownlow votes in his entire career - and he got the BOG!

....& Silvagni, who was brilliant at CHF after half time, got zero votes & finished 2 behind Libba for the year! Kernahan kicked 4 in the 3rd qtr & got no votes either, if memory serves.

Yeah remember that game well Dom7, & have crapped on about it once or twice on these pages . One of my favorites.

Grew up in Geelong so these games were always big for me. Personal highlight was running into a pompous git from school at half time who gave me a smirk & a Go Cats.

Turned up to school on the Monday in Carlton gear (like a pompous git)

Now if only Agro would come out from wherever he is & remind us one of the Agro Juniors was born that day...

Good luck sourcing a DVD Dom7 - if you have any luck let me know

"Silvagni, 50 metres out, left foot......woooo hooo"

Remember the game well, and this particular piece of commentary/barracking from (I think) Ian Robertson.

I would have thought it would be more a case of an Agro Junior being born 9 months later.

I can confirm my older sister Ms Agro was born on that day June 23 1990 at 4.55pm shortly after the finish of that game - and according to family folklore was referred to as "Stephanie" for the first few hours of her life in honour of the great man - but was later officially named "Alex".
