We've had a thread like this once before.

About 97 we drafted a couple of kids, Daniel MArshall and Troy Cullen.

I thought they'd both make the grade, Marshall as our next big defender and Cullen as a midfielder.

They were both delisted after one season.

That Denis Pagan would win a premiership for us...even in light of the salary cap debacle.

Can we merge this thread with every post predicting finals for Carlton next year?

I put money on Collingwood to win the 2004 GF, surely they wouldn't lose two year in a row after getting so close in 2003????

We got close in 2002.

Backing us after 2003 was just insane.

I think Cullen went to Richmond for a second chance.

Aaron Hamill - Captain...

Glen Bowyer - Captain...

(Also predicted we'd take Robert Warnock with pick 35 in the 2004 draft...)

So,

ROBERT WARNOCK - CAPTAIN

Has killed it at Vermont in the EFL over the past 8 or so years. One of the leagues better players, but is just about to retire I believe.l

I predicted Whitnall would be a premiership captain in the year 2000 after his first game.

I recall Sticks predicting Adam Bentick would be a future Carlton Captain.

Different sport but I predicted that Steve Waugh would get found out against the short ball on a tour of the West Indies and never play for Australia again.

He made a double century and another century, went on to become captain and played about another 80 or 90 test matches.

Still I always found him boring :-D :-D
