I also heard that he farted in the marquee... and tried to blame it on someone else. Thank got 'Confidential' was on hand to witness the said fart and can categorically confirm although Fevola was not the first to have smelt it, he was indeed the one to have dealt it.

WTF is 'confidential' anyway??? what a load of shit

To think like a knob head you can support a knob head.

Melvey has a good point though. We don't want to "Women's Weekly" this site.

I was thinking more along the lines of Fev proving yet again what a complete knob he is when he gets on the drink. The negative publicity he attracts himself, and by association the club, is damaging to the brand both personal and club. Let alone the message he is sending to those young ones who love this flawed fool. All this too on the day the AFL come out with their concerns about end of season binge drinking and the image that is projected to the public. I am not against Fev enjoying himself in the off season, just puzzled as to why he can't do this in private instead of in public with the predictably poor publicity that ensues.

He is clearly not leadership material at CFC, but is undoubtedly a foolish man. I wonder how long it will be before his next public "episode"? Wake up to yourself Fev.

Maybe he should spend a little more time with Peter Motley to gain a better understanding of how easy things can be taken away from you by drink.

..you've got to be kidding me right..?.. ..he's at the races, drinks a bit too much, gets into a tiff with his wife and it's big news..?.. ..a stupid arguement, and thats all.. ..no harm, no foul.. ..out later partying so what's so un-usual about the story.. ..bloody hell..

.. ..the 3 day bender ain't too pretty though, especially for his training buddies if he gets out of shape.. ..if he stays in good shape, he's earned the break..

"The Blue boy was overheard telling friends he was on a "three-day bender" after attending a wedding in Echuca.

He said he planned to "get poleaxed"."

Kahuna this quoted section above was what I was referring to hence the use of the term "pole-axed" in the thread title.

How else does he expect the public to react to these statements, if they are in fact accurate?

This is not about the Herald Sun it is about Fev's ongoing behaviour in public.

I am pretty sure that the young guys who are and have been busting their gut to be professional and be given one fiftieth the opportunities that Fev has been given give a serious flying flower, as would the coaches and leadership group at the club. A group that Fev has serious misguided belief that he can be a part of.

I don't know what is more sad here, Fev's actions or the so called supporters of this club making excuses for this knob. And you seriously expect Carlton to be pressing for a seventeenth flag by relying on players with these personal qualities. We still have a long way to go in the professionalism stakes it seems. Thank goodness our young up and coming stars seem to be cut from different cloth and have a more professional attitude.

By the mere fact the article used the word "overheard" it is immediately nothing more than gossip.

If that floats your boat.

C'mon . . . Since when did we believe everything we read in the hun ????
Or any other sports reporting paper ? Remember , it is the football silly season .
So he's had a few drinks and a spat with his missus . Who has'nt ?
So he's going to have a drink or 2 at the cup . Who isn't ?
If it doesn't affect his football , no problem . Lets wait and see.

Fev's an early contender for the first HTFU award for next season.

Deal with it, Fevvy, you had a blue with Alex, get over it, and just think of the make-up sex.

Finally! The voice of reason.

Outside of work hours the guy can do what he bloody well wants.....granted, if he is getting on it and breaking the law then he has to face the consequences.

Whether true or not it is a nothing story and shame on you people criticising him. Have a look in the bloody mirror!!!!
