Yes, it's about David Clarke. Brother Tim has been playing well for Hawthorn as a negating forward, taking the likes of Chris 'Brissie' Johnson, David Wirrapunda and Nathan D Brown out of the play. Occasionally he'll get the odd goal too. Now we've experienced the negating forward thing quite often - generally they take Houla out of play. BUT, could David Clarke play the Tim Clarke role here?

He's got better athleticism, good running, he's been kicking goals in the VFL - give it a go, I say.

His next senior game will be his 100th. Play him I reckon. Anyone who has consistent form in the Bullants deserves their chance.

As much as I've seen Clarke's mistakes, and as many times as I have had my head in his hands after a turnover, you cannot argue against form in the seconds. David Clarke consistently gets the ball and tries his heart out, and has been in the best in each of the last 3 weeks from memory.

GET ON BOARD THE CLARKETRAIN!!

What I would like to see, however, is Bannister played on Bizzell this week to do the same job as Ries did on Bizzell last week as negating forward. I reckon he's the best person for the job; about the same size, speed etc and has the ability to hurt by kicking a few goals.

Bizzell is one of the real keys for the Ds

No one can ever doubt Clarke's commitment, its just his kicking skills that let him down. Not much different to a majority of our players really.

I must say I'm over Bannister, not good enough to play on ball, not good enough to negate and win the ball, and not good enough to play anywhere else. In other words, he is simply not up to AFL standard.

Whats the go with Bannister. Last year he done the job on Judd, Ling, Hird and many others. Did the same in the Wizzer on Bruce and Judd.
Why all of a sudden is he a no-hoper. What happened cos I must have missed it
