Interesting choice. Could it be from familiarity with our increasing number of WA boys perhaps? |

Can you tell us anything about him, Cazz? |

Can you tell us anything about him, Cazz? Sorry I can't help. I know absolutely zero about him. Just on this thread..........I did say many months ago that the Football Department was looking to update and improve the area of Development within the club. The Clubs end of year review identified the need and they have acted on it in a professional manner since the end of the season. They have spoken to plenty of people along the way and now we appear to have a great mix of people in the current team of 3. The development of our kids appears to be in great hands for 2009. The fact that hardly anybody knows who he is tells me that we actually interviewed and disected as many different candidates as needed. Can't say we did that for a few others ![]() |

A year after it should have happened but finally the Club has heeded the wise posters on TC and followed a genuine process. And they have recognised that putting development, coaching and playing on the shoulders of Teague was too much and have finally provided him with an experienced outsider. Not sure why we didn't do that last year. Hopefully development will be given whatever resources and staff required. I had Brad Pearce or Cain Ackland pencilled in for the job, but this guy should be good. Sounds like a Swann appointment and not a Sticks one. |

Did the club instigate due process when looking for the CEO's position? |

Grew up and learnt his footy in Woodonga and won senior premiership there as a young fella before went to Bendigo for University (Teaching) and won senior premierships there with Golden Square (With Wayne Campbell) Then went to WA and won premiership (and sandover I think) there with West Perth as a player. Then coached back at Wodonga in late 90's and you guessed it ...won a premiership there. Then back to West Perth where he coached a premiership there. And was then Involved with a premiership at the Eagles. Was a smart tenacious Rover and is obviously a Sucessful bloke. Is very personable and will relate really well with the young blokes. Hope he does a great job! |

Can't say we did that for a few others ![]() What's wrong with Teague? Was there better options available when we selected Teague to develop and coach our kids? |

Didn't you say premierships? That's what it's all about for Bluebaggers. |
