Just heard thru the grapevine, that in addition to the game we have sold to Gold Coast, we have a total of 6 interstate games in 2009.

2 in Adelaide
1 in Perth
1 in Gold Coast
1 in Brisbane

and

1 in Sydney.

Which is 5 'normal' away games and our sold home game? Did that latter point get confirmed or was that just radio scuttlebutt?

Sydney...who we playing?

In addition to not playing in Sydney that often, we actually havent won there since 1993!

Molsey it includes the sold game but also throws in the every 3 years game in Sydney.

This info is not from the radio but the AFL.

I hope it's at homebush.

The SCG is the worst football ground in the history of mankind.

Hopefully there is a serious attempt at broadening our supporter/membership base with this.

From an on-field perspective, 1 in WA is a good get. Would be good to get games against Freo and WCE in Melbourne.

If you ever want to be playing 2 games in WA now is the time.

2009 is a good time to be playing 6 interstate matches.......much easier than a couple of years ago!
I'm not too bothered about our draw next year providing we don't play Geelong or Hawthorn twice.

Isn't the following week Easter? Maybe a Saturday game?

If we don't play either of them twice, who do you reckon will we play in the GF?
