With 15 minutes to go it was Buckley and that is when they voted. In the last 15 minutes of the game the other skipper stood up. They changed the voting after that year and now wait until the end of the game to cast votes. The AFL don't want to embarrass the code again by having some Collingwood player mysteriously vanish at crunch time when the grand final is there to be won.
