You mean "The Turd".

4. What was Bob Chitty famously taking the field without for a game in 1943?

Some questions that missed the cut....

1. Who is Carlton's only 5-time Premiership Player (day / normal Premiers only)?

From the Blueseum

This question got me thinking slightly off the topic (sorry couldn't help it).... .There is one other player who played in five premiership teams for Carlton, but one of them was a night premiership.

Wayne Johnston - 1979, 1981, 1982, 1987
and night flag 1983

From memory Bruce Doull missed the 1983 night flag, so he remains on 4 flags.

And you're right tap.....a legendary Full Forward who managed 153 games and 365 goals despite serving his Country in the War.

These players have something in common -

Hurst,
O'Connell,
Dickson and
Lukas

I wonder if anyone knows the answer... tricky one.

Tap,

All were part of the 1972 premiership team but didn't play in any other premiership.
Is that what you were looking for?

Well done 16 flags,

That is 100% correct. I thought that was a difficult one when I first posted it...

Who played in the bush for the early part of the Season.....played 2 Reserves games for us; and then went straight into a Carlton Premiership side?

Warby,

I once read the Bert Deacon played at Preston in 1945 and only came back to Carlton when we made it into the finals, but Preston doesn't qualify as the bush, does it?
