Actually, 'Flying High' was the original name...it was called 'Airplane' elsewhere. Apparently 'Flying High' had connotations that other countries weren't happy with :roll:

Because we don't call them Airplanes for one, and two we're not as familiar as the disaster films they were based on like Airport and it sequels. And yes, the aforementioned reasons above too.

Airport and Airport 77 were both on Fox Classics yesterday.

Flying High did such a good job, that you can't help but piss yourself laughing when you see these movies.

(And I love it how everyone drinks Martini's and bourbon with beer chasers on the plane. And Erik Estrada as the sleazy co-pilot who gets sucked out of the plane. And how all the guys refer to the women as 'baby')
