Little birdy told me that Pratt has given the most senior players (by games) the keys to the private jet for the end of season trip! Vegas I here is the destination!

Can anyone confirm who's flying first class, and which unlucky guys are flying non-Pratt Air.

according the weekend paper, the club would not allow this as fears for breaching the salary cap, the players are going to Macau now.

The joy ride has been aborted as it might need to be included in the salary cap.

Apparently no other AFL president [acting or otherwise] has a jet. 8)

Although, I did hear that a former Richmond President had a helicoptor that he wasn't adverse to using ad hoc if needed - no salary cam concerns there.

DUC come on, that President was using the helicopter for business, selling land at very very cheap prices to who ever was lucky enough to be invited to fly with him, lets say Ben,

he's not even our president so technically it shouldn't count towards the salary cap.

As was Fev and family staying at Pratt's New York apartment on his holiday....the AFL is starting to sail dangerously close to a restraint of trade case with these sorts of issues....

Hey, I have a small block of land in the bush that I can't afford to build on yet.

Can I be on the board too?

Apologies guys and girls, didnt realise it was already reported as a salary cap issue!

Glad to see the AFL are focusing on the big issues... perhaps the $100M they will waste on West Sydney might be of higher importance!

in better news:

Court win for cardboard king

Quote:
LAWYERS for cardboard giant Visy owner Richard Pratt have won access to a swag of documents relating to previous communications about him by government agencies.

Federal Court Justice Donnell Ryan today granted Mr Pratt access to documents relating to "meetings, conversations and communications'' on talk between the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and the Director of Public Prosecutions of potential criminal charges against him.

The order encompasses dates between July 26, 2005 and June 19, 2008.

Mr Pratt, is accused of having misled the ACCC when he denied, at a 2005 hearing, that a price-fixing agreement existed between Visy and Amcor.

Lawyers for Mr Pratt are seeking a permanent stay of the proceedings.

Mr Pratt's lawyer Robert Richter said at a previous hearing that packaging giant Amcor was part of a conspiracy with the ACCC to prosecute Pratt.

Mr Pratt, 74, the chairman of Visy Industries, faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
He was not at today's hearing.

Weird $hit this. So shoot me down if i'm wrong but when a new draftee comes from interstate and boards at a club officials place is that counted in the salary cap :? I fail to see the difference between that and staying in an apartment for a week in NY.
