Here's a question - imagine it is 26mins into the 3rd qtr, Hawks are 55 pts up, Buddy has 101 gls, Fev has 98 gls. What does Clarkson do? With the game over and Buddy happy, does he go out of his way to make sure Fev can't reach 100 gls? ie: does he triple team him and flood our forwardline like we've never seen before? Or does he actually show some good sportsmanship and let Fev get to 100? Am I being naive to even contemplate that Clarko might do the latter?

Clarko doesn't have it.

I'm betting that Clarko sends someone to iron Fev out inside the first qtr.

He'll disguise it as a 2 man teaming of Fev, but there will be a marking contest, and a Hawks player with no eyes for the ball will take Fev out and try to hurt him and nothing more.

He wouldn't do it. Why share the glory if Buddy already has 100? Be nice if he did, but he won't.

Good reason why we can win this game...
Players should be niggling at all costs.
Hawks have a few issues to deal with ... finals, tons of players with 60+ plus for suspension possibility etc...

Niggle and watch them all start palying for themselves...

Yeah, it'll be a fight, under moonlight. Our defense will have to be airtight.

Might.

I don't think Clarko would want to muck about with the Hawks' game plan and structure, on the eve of the finals. That could mean he won't do anything out of the ordinary to hinder Fevola's game. Of course that doesn't mean Fev will get the 100.

He's a turd. He'd do it out of spite, regardless of the cost.

they will turn it on tomorrow tonight and let the rest of the other 7 teams that they're ready to play. What better way than to smash a up and coming team with some momentum and a team they've singled out as one they love to beat

As much as i want Fevola to kick he's 100th................. i want him to do it through his own work, not as a gift from Clarksom, the Hawks, or anybody else.

If he kicks 100. It will be because he's earnt it!

Give me a break will you.

You don't think he's earnt it?

You don't think he's done brilliantly to get to 92 goals? In a non-top 8 team, the youngest team in the AFL?

You're being very harsh mate.

Clarko doesn't have it.

nor should he. this is a professional sport, not a charity event. If it was fev on 101 and buddy on 98, i would want carlton to do whatever is possible to prevent buddy to kick his 100th. plus there is a matter of the coleman medal that is awarded after 22 games, and doesn't include finals.

fev will get it anyway

I luv the footage of the blues players running in to "remonstrate" with Clarkson in the battle of britain game. Poor Clarko trying to find some cover.

Clarko = sh*t

What the bloody hell are you talking about?

Fev is my favouite player and i could't be more proud of him for kicking the goals that he has. He's been extrodinary!

What i don't want is for Clarkson to give him charity. Because none - NONE - of Fevola's other 92 goals this year have come from Charity. They've come from hard work.

Your being very silly reply to my post with such crap!

I'm in a bad mood today so read what i say before getting all 'antsy-in-your-panty's'!

My God!

Agree with this.

They will want to send a message to the other teams in the finals, loud & clear, that is for sure.

Whether they succeed or not remains to be seen.

The scenario won't happen.

Buddy will either:

A) Kick 1.7
or
B) Do a hammy five minutes into the game.

Fev will kick 11, and we'll pump the Hawks by 72 points - shattering their spirit and subsequently they bomb out of the finals in straight sets.

AND I WON'T BE THERE TO SEE IT!

*grumble* bloody birthdays *grumble*

We do realise that Fev needs 8?

I would be confident at 6 goals, but not 8.

At least we can enjoy a round 22 game.
