No problem with the mongrel's decision.

When Clarkson moved 3 onto fev after he kicked his 99th & Hawthorn was 80 points up. I thought that is the most ungracious act I have witnessed in football but then I remembered a bloke ending Ian Aitken's career in a post season game after 1987.

I am not really seeing him sometime next week but its the simplest way I know to call him a a rude word that you are not allowed to use on this forum for some reason.

Small man syndrome

Not to worry, it will be the only thing he will be able to claim as a success this year; they won't get near Geelong

Watch it fellas....it was a bad night, but don't try and avoid the swear filter unless you don't want to post on TC again.

I noticed Bateman jumped for joy when the siren went, obviously because it was such a close match  .

Hawthorn & their supporters are wankers - hope the Dogs upset them in the final. Sadly I don't think it will happen though.

I'm very certain that its the 2nd of September that I am seeing him, but if I dont make it on the 2nd of September I am pretty sure that I will see him on the 9th of September and if I miss him that day I am sure I will see him on the 16th of September - failing that I am sure that the 23rd of September I will catch a glimpse of him but definitely for sure I will see him on the 30th of September.

Why are you guys blaming Clarko??

How about point the finger at our insipid midfield who got smashed in the middle. Or our midfielders who did not run hard enough to create space and move the ball quickly

The Hawks just showed us how far off we really and hopefully a reality check

dear melvey,

finally you provide the chance for me to unload.

the key point tonight was not the result but the celebration of football. In a one sided match the dawks and flower clarkson played hard, not to win, but to deny fev a ton - dropping a loose man back in defence was the ultimate give away.

For you to focus on the midfield's failings, even if true, reveals your true agenda. Pot stirring.

Tonight was a celebration of all true blues, the world around - I wasin a bar in Hong Kong with hawk fans cheeirn the fev (much to their dismay), but even they recvognised the joy.

Unlike clarkson.

Wake up buddy (no pun intended but bugger me you might as well be a hawk)- see the positive- work for good againts evil, and for flowers sake - support the team.

Your negativity must be soul destroiying - are you rotting away inside? Do you wake in the middle of the night afraid? Does every decision seem to be fraught?

Perhaps the best thing to suggest is proffessional help, because , mate, you need it.

Giddy up horsey, Giddy up. Neigh Neigh!!

I was at the game. On the way home it was mentioned the Hawks always drop numbers back at near the end of each quarter.

Also mentioned that when Roughhead went down back Clarko immediately sent a runner out to him to get back forward.

Like it was also mentioned would Steve Waugh push all his men to the ropes if a bloke needed a single to reach the century.

Vet, would you have been happier tonight if Fev alone reached the ton, or both Fev and Franklin?

I thought this thread was going to be about BO.

A century in cricket is like 5 goals in the AFL. Plenty of players do it, often.
