Pros: A steady improvement throughout the year, with some great signs.

Cons: Our worst loss for the year came in R22.

CB, you could also say

Pro:
Our worst loss for the year came in the game where we had the least riding on it: finals were out of the question by tonight, so what's to play for? 8)

I wouldn't be fussed about it being our worst loss of the year. Our game plan went completely out of the door in the drive to get Fevola to 100.

Con:

Our game plan went completely out the door in order to get Fev his ton.

We couldn't even do that!

100% agreed was really the Buddy and Fev Circus tonite even judd mentioned pregame they would try to get Fev the ball if they could

I am not to bothered about tonite this game was all based around Buddy and fev getting there tons

Hawks had to play to keep momentum in finals and Blue well other than getting Fev to 100 was a nothing result once it was impossible to get into the Final 8

End of the day the biggest Con is that the Blues had there best season in the last 5 and comparing to the Hawks who also started there push upward in 2006 we are emulating the same way the hawks ave gone except had a better result than the hawks in 2006 so lets see if we follow the same way the hawks did in 2007

Cheers for the 2008 Season

Pros: On balance, it was a good season.

Con: Even the umpiries rose to the occasion and tried to get Fev over the line. Shame his team mates couldn't step up and win a centre clearance or two in the last quarter.

We nee to find 5 really good players to play with the big boys

Con: Last quarter performance at the centre bounces was probably the worst for the year.. due probably to the fact that they were all thinking too much about were the ball was going after they got it, rather plain and simply just getting it in their hands..

Cons: We had no answers to the opponents game plan. They had way too much space and pretty much got into their foward 50 at will.

Pros: We will learn from this.

Pro: Other than some excitement at the end from the thought of Fev cracking the ton, not much. Well, other than Murphy and GIBBS once again leading the way.

Con:
- The fact that no-one seemed to care how much the margin blew out as long as Fev achieved his goal. It's all going to be about how Fev missed out, not how we got absolutely smashed to end our year.
- Once again beaten in every facet of the game on the big stage against a top team. This shit needs to stop if we have any aspirations about being a contender next year.

Pros:

- Bower was great. Spoiled alot of contests with Buddy.
- The usual suspects got the votes in Judd, Murphy, Gibbs and Fev.

Cons:

- Fisher, Stevens, Pfeiffer, Houlihan, Bentick and Cloke were all witches hats, would have no idea who their opponents were, without looking at the stats I doubt they even layed a finger on them.

- Aussie on Roughead just had his confidence shattered leading into pre-season, lets hope he can recover. Thank his teammates up field.

- Intensity was non existent, Hawthorn did as they pleased. I actually think we played to lose for Pick 6.

Five would be great, three would do me but that is still two more than Kerr. 8)

At the end of the day we probably had 7 of our best 22 out tonight, including 1st and 2nd in last years best and fairest.

Overall the pro I take out is that the sides that got hold of us this season (Hawks, Cats, Roos) are much stronger than us, won't take too many more preseasons to catch up.

Pros -
Class of Bryce Gibbs
Andy Walker is set for a huge year next year
Kruez is great!
Murph is awesome!
Bower could be anything!
Juddy - just love the guy!
Once Hammer learns how to get a feel for the game he will be ok. There were positive signs.
Cons
Unaccountable senior players!
Our bottom 7- 10 players are a combination of low mental and physical strength plus poor skills. Much to do over the summer.
We simply need to toughen up. That will come with the right plans in place.

PRO: I was in the large pack down on the bottom level with masses of supporters from both sides urging Fev to 100

CON: He got 99

LOL when the UK team and US team came in at half time and were booed.

Murphy was class tonight.

Thought we missed Jamo in defence although Bower did play fairly well on Buddy.

we need our tackles to STICK

Pro:

Vast improvement in our club as a whole over the last 7 bleak years.

Giibbs, Murphy, kreuz, Bower, Jamo, Walker will be shining lights in years to come.

Other kids are showing glimpses of great things to come.

Somehow a miracle occurred and JUDD came to Carlton.

Con:

LOTS of work still to do over the pre-season, but I have faith that it will be worth it.
