I doubt a Carlton player will win the award, but who does everyone think will poll well ??

I think that Judd and Murphy would poll quite well.
Judd could well win the award again next year if we win enough games.

I wouldn't be surprised if Judd scores highest, with Murph and GIBBS taking votes from each other, and will end up scoring about the same.

Always back the bloke who's polled well before. The umpires love Juddy, and he''ll poll 10 more votes than our next best. He's been our best player this year anyway, but the gap between him and our second-best will be greater than warranted.

Remember when Ratts won our B&F in our 1995 premiership year as a full-time onballer? Total Brownlow votes.... NIL.

Carrots had a great first half year winning lots of possessions. Might poll well in the early games.

1) Judd because he is a proven votes winner, and is almost always seen as our BOG if we win the game

2) Stevens. Has had some big games in the "come from behind" victories, esp last quarters, so will stick in the minds of the umpires

3) Murphy. I think Gibbs has had a better year than Murphy IMHO, but Murphy seems to get more attention from the media, so I would assume the same would be with the Umpires

4) Gibbs. The most improved player in the team, has had some AWESOME games shutting down players, but that will generally not win you votes. His work through the midfield has been great, when allowed to play in there.

Judd will top the votes by far, but the voting in our own B&F will be much closer. Judd's always been rated highly in the media as our best (or one of) in games where he hasn't always had a great influence and the umpires will feel the same way. I also expect Stevo, Murph and GIBBS to vote well too (Scotland and Waite to round it out).

And Fev too of course. Forgot about him

..hmmm, hard to tell.. ..juddy is a vote getter, but his dash has been replaced with tough inside work.. ..stevens meanwhile, has run and run all year long, and that running of his will get him notice.. ..as for fev, at 92 goals for the season (and counting), he's obviously had to kick bags (and often won games) and that will always get attention..
