- Another come from behind winning, turning around a 32 point deficet at 3qtr time
- Kicking 18 goals and Fev only scoring 2 of those, so much for being fev concious...

CON
- The 50 point turnaround in the third quarter

JR's stopping role on Travis Johnstone.

Thornton smashing Brown in the last qtr.

Wins like this can paper over our deficiencies - eg key defenders
The 3rd quarter...those lapses will and have cost us
Fev unlikely to get 100

cons

If we are to progres, we MUST hit targets when we have the ball. And kicking to stationary players should be banned unless they have 50m of clearance.

Pros

Fitness!

Buy that bloke a beer

Con:

I didn't get to see the match, instead being forced to watch the Swans serve up a shit sandwich against Collingwood.

We'll get agonisingly close to the finals this year, but not quite make it. Tose matches against Essendon* will haunt us.

Pro:

What a win from a seemingly impossible position!

Pros:

- Clokey is back
- Ando's mark and good game time
- T-Bird and Bower in the last quarter
- Judd, Stevens and Murphy
- Houligan's return
- JR on Johnstone

Cons:

- The MC better get the psych in over summer and address these middle quarter fade outs, we don't even offer resistance.
- Hammer had the fumbles big time.
- Waitey turning the ball over in defence.

Well, what can you say, a colossal effort, a streak broken, another interstate win, a game that showed that at the moment, our midfield determines our fortunes – couldn’t sniff a clearance in the 3rd, got every one in the last – and it showed.

Before we commence the pros and cons, 2 things: Dwayne Russel must have been picked on at school by a Carlton supporter, and Fev does not get a fair go from umpires. Now…………………………….

PROS

1. Murph – had a ripper

2. Cloke – showed us something forward

3. Houla – he offers something we don’t have and really need, and we’ll have to live with the fact that he ain’t glen Archer.

4. Grigg – went into the centre bounces “a team” and did well

5. Stevens and simmo had great games

Special mention to some courageous young men - Kreuz who jumped into that lug all night, and Joey for standing in front of Brown at the death. Thornton was looking gone at 3/4 time and stood up in the last

CONS

1. If Carraz is a back pocket, I’m a Collingwood supporter – seriously.

2. The umpires do not give fevola a fair trial – he is presumed guilty, it’s a joke.

3. Ash McGrath did the same thing as North last week - running off half back to the clearances. And we let it happen.

4. Where was Jammo!

5. Waite’s kicking was appalling but he made up for it

Well done after last week’s bad effort – we’ve made some steps forward but just how far will be determined by our forward line’s ability to grow.

Oh – JUDD! Every clearance, I love him.

-Murphs game all day, especially his contribution to the first 3 goals of the last term
-joe andersons late inclusion which played a part in winning us the game

- the 32 point come back in 20 minutes

Cons:

-The umps

CON: The Gabba centre square, the height of those centre bounces made Hampson ruck like Ackland...ridiculous
