So do you think Fev can kick 10 in the next 2 weeks to get to the magical number ?
Personally i think no, going on his recent stats against our next 2 opponents, hope im wrong though ! Was there to see Jezza kick his 100th against Melbourne at MCG in 1970 what seems an eternity ago !

Fev's last 9 games against Brisbane have yielded a surprisingly low 21 goals only, including his 5 in round 8 this year. Significantly only one of these 9 games resulted in a win for us.
He has played 4 games at the Gabba for a mere 7 goal total return.
Admittedly, those 9 games were in teams normally a bit weaker than our current line up, but he needs 5 or 6 this week to have a show i think.

He has played against Hawthorn 8 times for a return of 32 goals.
Which is around his career average, and you would expect hime to snag between 3 to 5 in our round 22 clash.
They may even look for him a bit more than usual (if that is physically possible already!) if he gets to 97 or 98 with a half to go ?

Of course the above equation would be so much easier if we could win of these games, if we cop a shellacking in one of them then its probably going to be a case of so near yet so far ?

Care to have a poll ?

I'd love to see him get it because we have [REDACTED] up our game plan by looking for him every time we go inside 50. Hopefully this will change next year so this season may be his only chance to get the 100.

They amount of times we go to Fev there is a very good chance he'll kick 5 in both games to get there.

Here's what's gonna happen..................

Fev will kick his 100th against the Hawks and we will win the game finishing the season on a high!

Oh......... and he'll overtake Buddy for the Coleman too when Waite keeps him to 0 goals!

Trust me.......... i know!

I don't really care if he kicks 100 or stays on 90, as long as we win.

Having said that, I would love for him to take a speckie once in while. Seems to have difficulty getting off the ground.

i reckon fev will get there beacuse he really wants it now he is so close.

i wouldn't be at all surprised if he gets a bag this week, maybe 8 goals.

then there will be a heap of pressure on him in round 22 needed only two goals.

will be interesting.

i really hope he and we finish the season strongly these next two weeks

I hope he doesn't get it...

That way he will be hungry for next year..when it will really count..

Otherwise, if he does get it, the dumbs ass is likely to get lazy..

You'd think it'll be easier than ever for the two opposing Coaches to work out how we'll be kicking our goals!

A cleft stick for Ratts.......get other players kicking goals in a hurry.....or protect Fev at all costs so he can get hold of the ball.....a conundrum.

Fev missed a golden opportunity for another in last minute of Q1 on Sunday vs Kangas ... stood still shoulder to shoulder at 22m mark as Gibbs was running into the centre and no-one inside 50 in front of Fev. If he lead, he would have had shot from around 45 -50m.

Probably not, and hopefully not.

I want him hungry for the ton next year when we start going gang busters.

His ego alone should drive him to want to kick 100.....it's only natural for an athlete at the highest level to want be the best......and don't forget.....he's the underdog compared to Franklin.

The Game Against the Hawks is almost close to a Sell out. Only Tickets i Managed to get are at the top, Level 3.

It will be such a great end to the season to see Two players get their Tons....

If Fev does achieve this, he would have achieved every individual accolade a star Forward could ever want. In the long term this could work wonders for Carlton as Fev can start to focus on team goals without the extra thought.

Weather shouldn't be a factor in the two games. Forward 50 defense also shouldn't be too much of a worry with Brisbane (Man on man) and Hawthorn (Midfield Zone/one on one with Trent Croad). If Fev really wants it, I think he'd go nuts and score 6-10 goals in one or both the games.

I also don't think Hawthorn will adjust their usual game plan to cancel out Fev, because they won't have to worry about a player like him in the finals and they'll most likely want to prepare themselves for the Premiership contenders.

My tip is 102 goals.
