Broker booted for blue footy rant

Quote:
A ONE-EYED Carlton supporter was sacked for telling fellow workers they were "f***wits" for not supporting his team, a court has heard.

Bernie Shackcloth, 36, told two colleagues he could not believe OAMPS - one of Australia's largest insurance brokers - had given them tickets to accompany him to Carlton's 2007 best and fairest John Nicholls Medal dinner in Melbourne when they did not "even go for Carlton", the Northern Territory Supreme Court was told.

"You are like B1 and B2, only f***wit 1 and f***wit 2," he drunkenly abused them at the event last September.

He's right. They are flower for not supporting Carlton.

Never mind... :

Quote:
Weeks later Shackcloth signed on to work with competitor BM Insurance brokers in Darwin, and OAMPS received 20 letters of authority transferring insurance business to BM Insurance - 18 of which were Shackcloth's clients.

PWNED! Hahahhaaa... that's got to hurt, though I'm certain that issue will go to court...

At least you can have expectations. A bit difficult to know what to expect from a Collingwood supporter in a similar situation. I mean, they'd have to get a job first.

The judge also dismissed Shackloth's counter-claim of wrongful dismissal, as he said OAMPS "could never be confident" that Shackcloth "would not repeat" his drunken behaviour.

LOLOLOL of course not, come next year this bloke along with the rest of us will be singing merily and drunkenly after we win the flag.
