Was lucky enough to get in the rooms yesterday. While obviously not in on team meetings or anything like that, there were a few things of interest... - During warm ups and stretches, Juddy, Cloke, Wiggins were the vocal ones, most stay pretty quiet. - Stevo had the most to say. Obviously an ex-Port player, he seemed to talk about things to do with their game plan. For example, how important is was to stop there 1-2 with the man running past and to get a hand in on the ball or the man. Stop their running game. - Mentioned how Port would come out hard, with a few of their guys playing for their careers. (Ok, perhaps he wasn't quite right with that one) - The need to look for and use Hampson and Kreuzer up forward. - Stevo also challenged the team to set a season high in tackles. They ended up in the 60s. They didn't really need to tackle as hard as the game went on, but they were pretty fierce with them in the 1st quarter. - As well as general comments such as being first to the ball and using the corridor. - Also, Fev was either really relaxed before the game or he had baked beans for breakfast.... After the game, obviously everything was pretty upbeat, but the thing I really noticed was how out of control David Cloke's mullet is.... |

Thanks for that Braddles, a good insight actually, especially into Stevens. WIGGINS!!! ![]() He's got to play well this next fortnight to distract Mrs Wiggler from her Olympic disappointment. |

good to hear that Juddy was pretty vocal, as the word from W.C was that he never had much to say, he just let his football ability show the way... |
