At the risk of being a bit greedy, I'm going to submit my list to Santa early this year.

So, here goes:

Dear Santa,
There's a few things I want more than anything else. More than material goods or world peace.

These things I wish for are:
• Fevola to stop the antics and play with the passion we all know he has for The Blues. Coleman medal for him? Don't care. I want to see him kick, chase, tackle, harass and do all the team things we know he can do, as we've seen him do them before.

• Smurf and Gibbs to lead a young team. Does that mean make them Captain? No. But I want to see a young group welded together by the disappointments of the past seasons decide in themselves that they want to stick together for greater glory.

• I don't care if any of our guys win the individual awards like the Brownlow. What's the point if Judd, or Kade Simpson wins an individual gong? We all know Judd, Murph, Gibbs, Simmo etc can play, why do we need validation of that by a trinket? What I want is for them all to exert themselves for the team. For our team. For the mighty Blues.

** Edited by Mods **

• For supporters of teams like Essendon*, Richmond and Collingwood to be not only massively disappointed with this season, but for the fans (but not necessarily the administrations and coaches) to see their crumbling fortunes, and our inevitable resurgence, and have it cause them much heartburn for years to come.

• And, last but not least, for nice weather on Sept 13th, and for the week after that  If we're playing on that day, don't let them crash my party, Santa....

I promise I'll be a good boy, eat all my vegetables, do all my homework, and I will try and not ask for much next year.

Yours,

KK

Nice ask.

But geez KK, what about the draw for 2009....I would have thought at least one Carlton game in Sydney would be on your wish list.
It is on mine.

If we can pull something special off this year, I'll take what comes, fixture-wise :-D

But, yes, it would be nice.
