Ok forget Camporeale,Kouta,Whitnall and the guys in the Backline and most of the guys in the forward line who should we keep in the midfield.

Do you think playing Stevens,Camporeale in the midfield rotating with Bentick, maybe get Justin Davies or even Jarad Waite playing there.

Should we just play Kade Simpson,Adam Bentick and Justin Davies there and blood Jordan Russell and Luke Blackwell as well and play Jarrad Waite in the Centre.

Who Has the best skills, that we need to keep

Maybe Scotland,Prendergast,Johnson,Camporeale is the way to not go

The Team, not including Brad Fisher

(B) Teague Livingston Norman
(HB) Houlihan Thornton Walker
(C) Russell Waite Davies
(HF) Koutoufides Morrell Whitnall
(F) Lappin Fevola Deluca

(R) French Stevens Bentick

(I/C) Camporeale Blackwell Betts Sporn
(EM) Simpson Carrazo Ohalipin Bryan

Of the younger brigade, Hoops, T-Bird and Kade have by far the best skills.

Waite can be off and on but when he's on his skills are pretty good.

Blackwell has nice skills, in particular by hand in traffic. His awareness and vision is Dieselesque.

A line up in three years:

B: Carrazzo Thornton Sporn
HB: Houlihan Hartlett Russell
C: Simmo Blackwell Scotland(50/50 but I think he needs support)
HF: draft/trade Waite draft/trade
F: Fisher Fevola Betts
R: draft/trade Walker Stevens
IC: Wiggins Livo Norman Bentick Davies

We need four-six topline youngsters for the future. I sincerely hope we have another promising father & son selection in this years draft.

Good news is that draft/trade represents fewer players than 2 years ago!

You guys still have Karl in the team. There would have to be a question mark over him at the moment.

Of the young uns I'd go the following:

Bentick - the little I have seen of him, his disposal and composure in traffic has impressed me.

Houla - His multiple passes to Fev on the lead in the 2nd qtr on Friday night showed his talent.

Betts - Knows where the goals are. Don't recall seeing one of his handpasses.

Carrazzo - Most of his disposal is decent but he at least can spot a target, even if he can't hit it all the time. Is prone to some shockers. I think we've missed his run from defence the last two weeks.

Thornton - Creative, reasonably accurate but would like to see some more depth on his kicks.

I didn't realise our youngerplayers had any skills. I thought they were all shit because they're not getting 45 effective disposals a week each.

Yeh i really think if he is pushed like last year he should be in the side with his height, him and Livingston would help us la lot in the backline, he did well last year, sometimes second year they fall back but i would try getting him back when Livingston returns and then give him one more year maybe also Livingston it's not like we can replace them yet, look at the team now without them.

I don't know about you lot but i'm very excited (maybe even a bit sexualy excited!!!!) about Andrew Carrazzo.

This boy knows damn well how to find the ball! I wouldn't mind seeing him have a stint in the midfield!

Campo
Stevens
Houla
Simo
Scotland
Walker
Davies

are all outside players

Kouta is our number 1 inside player, but he's used all over the place.

Blackwell is supposed to be a ball magnet, but he's supposedly too slight to play against bigger guys.

Waite is a tough nut, but inconsistant and is used as a KPP as we have none.

I'd love to see Betts played in and under - recon he could handle himself and be a slippery customer.

We've got no hard ball get players outside of Kouta - this is where we are getting thrashed.

You're right but its slightly different in my mind. We do have a few in & unders but for various reasons they are often not a worthy back-up. Johnson is an in & under and in only 1 game this year the two have worked well together - Hawthorn. At the time Johnno's role was to stop Mitchell. Bentick is also good at this, very tough in tight, but he's only in his second year of footy so we can't expect too much as yet. To me, AB is next in line and will eventually replace JOhnno but of course he has to work for it.

Our lack of backup is a real problem. Against the Tigers, Coughlan beat Kouta handsomely, and with Kouta not getting it, those outsiders were caught well away from the flight of the ball. It was pretty hard to watch actually, Stevens and Campo to the sides of the packs whilst Richmond would either line up front / back of congestion, when at front they would run it in easy and when at abck, they would do their ring a ring a rosy handballs until they got someone clear.

From watching in the 2's, Davies and Simmo also try inside but just don't have the stature yet. Everyone probably knows I like Simmo but its mainly for his contested ball gets at the lower levels. Stevens does this too, but I gyuess we haven't noticed it much of late. Those outsiders really need to get their fair share of contested ball to back-up Kouta and Scotland & Campo in particular disappoint me.
