I'm not sure but I think I may have almost shed a little liquid trickle from one misty eye. I say almost. Damn it was close  .
I mean........... HOW GOOD IS IT TO WATCH THE BLUES IN FULL FLIGHT AT THE MOMENT?? We haven't just done it once in 8 quarters. We have put on show many times so far. The ball coming out from fullback has been flying down the ground. Swift movement, pinpoint passes and a forwardline in full flight. Makes you proud to be a Carlton supporter again. How good is that feeling  .
I'm now proud to say out loud..... WE PLAY A GOOD BRAND OF FOOTY THAT IS WORTH PAYING TO SEE. So far they are playing like I have seen then train in the pre-season. It's all GO, GO, GO. Don't stop. GO, GO, GO and then GO some more. Buy your membership and the boys will repay you 10-fold from here on in. We might not win them all, but we will have a real red-hot go and along the way you will sit back and say.....DAMN THAT WAS SOME FINE FOOTY. Go you good things. I'm actually getting comments from other non Carlton supporters saying positive stuff about Carlton, Lance etc. I agree. It's a great feeling. Still get a few Bomber supporters in my TAFE class arking up now and then. But putting them back in place is like shooting fish in a barrel.

caz i am just rapped to watch this side play, I reckon its as good a sight as i've seen on the football field. this side gets the juices flowing - my wife's got the biggest smile on her face lately abd she barracks for Collingwood - hmmm that might have been too much information

Great article DB .... they sure are playing a wonderfull brand of football. Having Campo, Stevens and the like running rampant feeding the ball to Fev and Whits almost reminds me of the mosquito fleet ..... early days yet but I hope it continues. |
