Many of you will have read that the last time we defeated Sydney was in Round 8, 2000. Sydney are this weekend going for 11 wins on the trot, to equal the winning streak against us of St Kilda (also on 11). (Incidentally both these teams were the only teams to defeat us in 1995).

However, last time we won was also part of a wonderful story in our last decade....Kouta's Golden Run!

Wow, I was at the game at PP, didn't realise it was the last time we beat Sydney... A seagull shat in my hair at the ground. I thought it was supposed to be good luck, but the girl I was trying to scruff told me to go flower myself a couple of weeks later and then Carlton turn into a rabble two years later

From memory there was one called Blue Thunder, gutted I didn't buy it at the time.
