I was told today of a father that is becoming a pest with his criticism and phone calls on selections.

Has anybody else heard this story?????

Would not be surprised if it was Cloke snr. I've had the misfortune to be in his sphere of influence in the past and he was then a very controlling type.

From my understanding the Cloke Family (in particular Mrs Cloke) were warned to keep their distance from MC and Coaching Staff as a condition of Cameron being recruited to the club - their reputation at Collingwood and in particular around Junior Football Clubs with regard to pushing up their sons is legendary.

It is remarkable that all the Cloke sons turned out to be pretty decent blokes, considering ...

DOA? :P

on a side note, walker should be a definite this week. According to Ratten...
Quote:
"It's great to get him back in the team and that will add to us from a running point of view," Ratten said.

He was close to selection against St Kilda, but the club was concerned about picking him first-up for a Friday night game when he had played a VFL game only five days earlier.

Looking forward to walkers return and the aggression/pace that he will add to the team over the next few rounds as we push for the finals :)

My thoughts too.

Otherwise he might go he.
