Pros
Having match on made day at work go faster
Gave it a go in last quarter

Cons
Getting beat by that rabble again
Goal Kicking
Not having seen match so i'll have to hold of on individual performances till i see it

Pro: had a chance of pinchin in in the last quarer while doing nyngan for most of the match
Bryce Gibbs, formerly solid, now solid gold.
Thought some of the fringish plsyers ie Browne, Anderson, Edwards, did enough to hold their spot seeing that overall, the team put in a flowered effort...
Judd!

Cons: Nick Stevens, please take a mark when there is some sort of pressure on you...
Kilne kickin goals...
Letting a very winnable game slip through the fingers.....
The ruck situation :!: No offence to Kreuzer, Cloke et all, but if we had a dominangt ruck division we would be kicking ringo starr...

pros - Gibbs: a wonderful player. Is almost worth the price of admission
Judd: worth the price of admission

Cons - Cloke: nothing worked
fish: we really can't afford to carry a bloke who can't kick for goal. Has been there in the tough times so deserves a chance, but might be time for vfl
Midfield: just got smashed

Now we've missed the finals it is time to make sure Hammer plays every week because we need a winning ruck combination in 2009

Pros:

+ Having been travelling for the best part of this year, great to see a game live!
+ Judd. What a last quarter.
+ Gibbs playing perhaps his best game for the club. Didn't waste a possession, every kick seemed to hit its intended target.
+ Browne showing signs that he will be a very good player. Attacks the footy, strong disposal.

Cons:

- Obviously, Fev. Didn't get very good supply but still, he seemed to be 'off' tonight. And, before Buckley commented on it, I thought it odd that he was so familiar with the St Kilda players after a stinging loss.
- Stevens did not have a good game. Didn't seem to have space to run and create, Dempster did a good job on him.
- Steven Milne -- why can't someone knock his bloody head off!?
- That opening quarter. Had them on the ropes but couldn't put them away. SHOULD have been 15-20 pts up at quarter time.

Pros
- GIBBS...a Rolls Royce. Don't be surprised if he is the no 1 midfielder in the comp within a couple of years.
- Judd in the 1st and last qtr.
- Browne..didn't do a great deal tonight but shows that he will be a player
- Betts
- crowd of over 55K despite the weather conditions.

Cons
- Russell and Edwards won't make it...move them on and give some of the other kids a run.
- Anderson dissapointing but is only as 2nd year player and deserves another year.
- Our ruck division...put Hampson in the side...I know he is very raw but at least he always provides a contest.
- Fev's antics yet again.

PROS

we have a good body of players who are good enough to take us to a flag

Gibbs was my Blus BOG...yeah solid gold
Judd...just elite
Murphy came good and proved when its hot in the kitchen he's got the right stuff
Bentick in th guts...toughest little bugger you'll find at the club
Waite is a true Blue with a lion heart and wasted tagging players when he's the dager man in our team.

CONS

Obvious...Cloke is not a ruckman, he's just picked for the position. You cannot have a 195cm ruckman!!!

Wasting Waite on Reiwoldt. Waite is daner for all other teams on a wing or forward. I bet opposition coaches are glad he's tplayiong a negating role as a tagger. DUMB!!

Not having a tall 196-199cm backman to spoil big fowrads like Kosi. Oh yeah we do have Setanta....but lets waste Waite in that spot.

Not having forwards (other than Fev who can kick goals)...Fish aint it, neither is Russell, neither is Wiggo...that's there's no dead straight kicks ....straight kicks that's what we need in the forwardline...and what was Edwards doing tonight? Got no idea...didn't even see him...he looked dangerous in the 1st.

My disppointment not plaing Hampson and Walker....and my prefernce to play/ trial Jacobs instead of the lion hearted Cloke. We may as well bring Prendergast back if we're going to continue to go with the short ruckman.

The few weaknesses are so obvious, that could be a PRO...as long as we learn from that (albeit @#$%&! 7 years of learning the same lesson)

Pros:
Gibbs, Judd and their work rates.
The entire team including Ratts should learn lots from this loss.

Cons:
Russell. Needs to be sent to the 2's. Just not good enough for snr footy.
Stevens. Too slow, not to mention its a game of 4 quarters.
Our kicking. Kick to the chest with accuracey, not high and over the heads.

Pros - Gibbs..anyone doubting the number 1 pick now?? A few weeks ago i was laughed at by mates when i claimed that there is a lot of James Hird about this kid..I have no doubt he will be our next captain...GUN

Judd- was fresh after 3 weeks and it showed..Should never have played the all-star game.

Never giving up..although down by 39pts we managed to get it to 7pts. WE are still young and we will learn not to give teams such starts.

Cons - Our kicking for goal. Too many sitters (JR, Fisher etc). Game should have been over at quarter time.

I missed the first 3 qtrs and save the best for last. How good if we pinched it.

Cons
Too numerous to mention. Kicking 2.8 in the first tells the story. Didn't make the most of our opportunities.

Judd (especially his last quarter)

Some of the passing => turnovers (won't name players)
The 'free kick' that stopped the momentum when we were 7 points down in the last quarter

PRO: Not many changes required:

on the edge are Cloke, Russell, Edwards, Wiggins...I'll give Anderson, Grigg a let off b/c they're young, and Carrots b/c he's a B&F ...that's for the time being....need much more from Carrots or should I say B & F's...same goe with Stevens...maybe his performance, like Stevo's was influenced by the anhiliation we copped in the ruck.

Yeah, I thought Browny impressed me tonight...but it's hard to gauge from the Big screen....same goes with any I may be mistaken with.....other than Cloke in the ruck...too obvious.

KREUZER is definetely part of our future.

FIX THE @#$%&! RUCK POSITION FFS!!!!!!
