Quite true. Were you the bloke with the megaphone and big banner 'RECALL DORA' at 1993 Grand Final training?

He has enough priors from wrestling that the $3K whack is consistent with his consistency in wrestling.

There is 2 sets of rules for everyone else and rules for Fevola!

1) He gets mauled when he is going for the ball, arms chopped, over the shoulder, bent over etc... because he looks to the umpire he doesnt get jack sh*t....

2) I saw on ' On the couch ' last night Dean Cox point at the umpire and complain about a free kick... if that was Fev, would have been 50 mtrs ...

I understand he shouldnt be looking at the umpire for frees and should just play the whistle... but if its a free its a free... i really worry one day he will erupt and throw haymakers and get a massive amount of weeks

That is so flowering true, saw that last night as well, if that was Fev it would have been a double 50. Fev just has to open his mouth and he is in trouble.

Really, the club should complain to the AFL about the mistreatment of Fev, umpires always take past events in calculations when dealing with Fev.

As for the wrestling, it takes 2 to tangle...

Absolutely - it worked for Hall! Umps became scared to pay frees against him for a good 8 - 9 games.....

Fev's troubles with the umps are a direct result of Fev's behaviour towards them. He's made his bed in that regard....

Probably true but if they umpired with CONSISTENCY.....the main thing anyone wants from umpires............... frees should be given regardless of how a player has carried on previously?

I have been critical of Fevs behaviour too. Umps seem to disregard a lot of what happens to him during games but as soon as he steps out of line he is pinged. There are many AFL players who get looked after week in week out. Maybe they dont carry on like Fev, but does that make it right that it is so hard for him to get the frees that other forwards get?

It is not about the umpires. They should umpire as consistently (bit hard with Giesch's current interpretations) as they can, stop talking so bloody much to the players and get on with their flowering job!

Yep Shh...happened right in front of me...One player was wrestling, one player was having his face pushed into the dirt and rubbed around...

See if you can guess who's who....
Came after a few arm chops and pushes in the back (all unpaid) and Fev got the "frautsration factor" out after that
I can tell you it would have been worth every cent for Fev...he played quite well after it.
