I can say this because we won…..

The umpires were terrible.

There. I said it.

That was a bloody great win.

Our bottom six stood up.

Sam Walsh was @#$%&! smoking.

Yes the umpires made some really bizarre calls but not as bad as last week.

Well how about that. Super impressive win. Huge in the context of our season. Midfield back to its brutal best.

Very, very happy WA bagger. Rapt as it’s my sons 18th on Tues. Best early present ever. He was Born A Blue, has stuck fat and is as diehard and passionate as his old man. Hopefully some great times ahead

Go Blues!

Absolutely agree, but we beat both Freo and the umps so that feels great. Another great win by the Blues. Awesome to be 10-4, the next 3 are all winnable hopefully we go at least 2 out of 3 but 3 out of 3 would be better. Looking more and more likely that we have cemented a top 8 spot. From there it's a knock-out system and if we can be better on game day we are in with a good chance.

Brett Rosebury #8 was Nathan “The Cheat” Williamsonesque today I thought.

I thought his tape measure performance calling Cottrell for running 14 metres 99 centimetres was particularly bad

Good onya

Ticked me on the inside reading that.

I have to confess, I have bred die hard Baggers, now 14yo, and an Academy kid, and an 18yo, living and growing up in the Eastern Suburbs, with a huge spread of different supporters due to inter-footy-state status, so, I'm so glad for all of us dads that The Baggers have finally turned the corner.

Go Blues

Kemp was good once he got into the game. Got beaten a couple of times by Tabbener but shit happens.

Fantastic win!

Walsh, TDK, Cottrell, Charlie, Fish, Kennedy, Hewett and Silvagni all huge. Young and Kemp held their own and did some impressive defending.

Today was the statement game we have been waiting for. If I hear one more flower say "but who have they beaten?" I will rip their head off and shit down their neck!!

Freo are a great side and we smashed them today. They had no answers whatsoever. 10-4 and in 4th spot!!

Looking forward to backing it up against the Saints next week and then guaranteeing our spot in the Finals following that.

This team can build some real momentum with key players returning over the next month or so.

Loving this season. Go Blues!!

Was that him? Prick.

I questioned the call in match day thread, wondering what the umpire had to gain from making such an abstract decision.

The obvious answer for me was that umpire had an agenda.
He couldn't beat us no matter how much he tried.

Agree. You wouldn’t want to rely on him backing it up week after week though, so the sooner Weitering is back the better.

But credit to Kemp for punching above his weight for most of today.

Outstanding result and, based on the commentary here, outstanding performance too. This weekend was always a huge opportunity and we seized it to the fullest. Top four is the goal now, the cavalry is arriving!

Good call, because it was shit,

But, it seemed he got used to the weight division and its pace, then started to dominate the last 45 minutes.

Absolutely stoked with that win...

Walsh's best ever numbers... Young continues to impress... Saad very good... Cottrell's best game?
Harry very good up the ground... TDK exceptional... Fisher getting back his groove

Midfield and overall team pressure making up for our thin backline

Great performance indeed.

And no one more so than the person responsible for the LED signage with our Club song's lyrics.

It read...'SEND UP'.

Silvagni huge.

Walsh huge.

Georgie Hewett huge.

Saad is a magician, and he will be a Carlton Premiership player.

Cripps is da captain ... even if he missed a sitter.

Then the bottom 6 players...OMG

Cottrell...on his way to Peter Matera status (mark my words).
Durdin...Love his hurt factor on bigger opponents. Leaving their litter on the ground everytime he hits.
Plowman...glad he was still one of the last standing.
Kemp...glad he was the last standing. He was good in last 45 minutes when he got the pace and weight division.
Motlop...laid 5 tackles, and put on pressure
Honey...took ages to get use to the speed and the strength of opponets. Thought it clicked in 2nd half.
Setterfield...good to see him trying and getting a kick and singing the song

100% disposal efficiency in his 5th game in an undersized defence. I’d play him again next week
