In the upcoming St Kilda game, Marc Murphy will play his 50th AFL game, and Heath Scotland will rack up his 100th for the Mighty Blues.

Hearty Congratulations all round and heres hoping we celebrate with a win over the Saints.

To me, it seems like a lot of games in such a short time, despite his injury a couple of years back.

I would like nothing more than to have these two massive parts of our 2008 resurgence be able to celebrate their milestone matches with a resounding win over the Aints.

We have some pretty big / fond milestones coming up in the next month, actually, starting with the St Kilda game. Waite, Judd, Wiggins and a few others, selection permitting, have significant career milestones for us to celebrate.

wow, i can't believe murphy is at 50 games already.

he's coming along nicely too, one he gets his confidence back and starts placing his kicks a bit more he will become a really damaging player.

i admire the way he goes about it even if his form is a bit off - he's still doing all the hard stuff.

It has to happen for so many reasons

- to get them out of the eight
- to get into the eight
- to break our Aints hoodoo
- to celebrate Murph's 50th
- to get Scottie's name on the locker door

Go you good things!

I'm sure he'll get his name on the locker, win or lose, P12. :P

I mentioned these upcoming milesstones in the player's threads.

How wonderful for My Smurph to notch up 50 glorious games? Did you see the look on his face when he kicked that goal against the Tiggers?

Such a look of relief.

Wow, 50 games for Murph already! How quickly they've come. Just think how good he'll be when he reaches 100 games.

Scotland has been a fine servant for Carlton since arriving - I've really liked his game this season - he sweeps up extremely well and gives a bit of run out of the back 50. Also pretty agro and not afraid to fly the flag, which sets a great example.

I can't wait for this game. If we win, it'll be great in so many ways :-D

In amongst all the commotion for Murphy's 50th, Scotlands' 100th means that he will only be the second Blue with his name on the locker:

1/2 a point to anyone who can list the first player.

I still boo that [REDACTED] Robert Copeland for the way in which he played Murph that game.
